Mountain hous 2 perss
Italy, Valle d'Aosta, Les Ru
LAYOUT

You reach the house via a path from the road. On the village side is the front door to enter. Above the door is a shed antler from a deer, which is the namesake of the cabin.
Il Cervo stands entirely on its own and is one of the newly built chalets in the village.

Entrance

Living

The chalet is entirely on the ground floor and offers space for a kitchen, dining table, bedroom and a bench next to the pellet stove.
There are two windows at the rear of the chalet so that you can enjoy the view of the peaks of the mountains.
There is a TV that can be operated from the couch or from bed.

The hanging book holder with beautiful Italian books is very special.

Dining area

In the middle of the chalet an Italian scene with a wooden table and wooden bistro chairs.

Of course, there is a cloth over the table as standard, according to Italian custom!

Kitchen

As it should be in such a mountain house, you can do the dishes yourself. The kitchen is made of wood and stone and features typical Italian cooking utensils, including a generous gas stove, convection oven and a refrigerator with freezer compartment.

Tip: Italians make coffee with a perculator and drink it from very small cups.
We brought our own Nespresso machine and coffee cups.

The bathroom is located next to the bedroom. Simple and pure materials form the basis for a sink, toilet, and shower.

Bedroom

The sleeping area is semi-transparent in the room. An Italian curtain hangs in front of the bed to create a feeling of security.
The sturdy beams, bedding and typical decoration from the region immediately give you that instant mountain holiday feeling.

Garden
You can make use of the covered picnic area and a BBQ. In summer, deck chairs are provided for relaxing comfortably.

Parking

There is ample parking available for your car.
At the bottom of the road near the chalet, you have your own parking space. You won’t have to carry your groceries and luggage far.

Pricing

In the summer it is a very popular destination among Italians and you pay top price for a stay.
It is therefore more interesting to book just outside that period

Interesting to know: a large part of the price is reinvested in the village for its renovation.

Practical Information

Stock up well! There is a small grocery store in the village, but it's convenient to have everything on hand so you don't have to go out immediately.
We ourselves ordered a lunch and dinner box from Hello Fresh, which meant we hardly had to do any shopping.
