If you stay at Chalet Stambecco you should definitely walk this walk. The drive to the dam through the nostalgic Italian countryside alone is breathtaking. Come along to the most beautiful pearl in the Aosta Valley where Italy meets Switzerland.

The reservoir is an engineering feat, filled with water so turquoise-aquamarine blue that it is almost not real.

Halfway through you will come across a sturdy log cabin, with a view that would make you want to stay like that for a few days.

As icing on the cake, you will find a Refuge at the end of the lake where you can enjoy Italian coffee and delicacies.
