Cozy house, nicely furnished, beautiful and quiet location in a street with chalets just outside the village. Reasonable beds. Well equipped kitchen, although I missed a microwave and the water in the kitchen did not get hot. (Luckily there is a dishwasher). Small disappointment that the record player does not work (not connected to the speakers). Nice shower but takes some fiddling to get the temperature right. The house could also use a good cleaning. All in all a nice house but with a number of unnecessary shortcomings..

The cottage was not what we expected. The exterior looked neglected, giving a different impression than the photos, where everything appeared much nicer.
Inside, the overall impression was good at first, but on closer inspection, many things were dirty or broken. The oven light was out, the freezer handle was broken, curtains were falling down, there was a lot of dust on top of the cabinets, cutlery and cups were dirty in the cupboard, and the seating area curtains were stained.
On the positive side, the beds were very comfortable.

We stayed in La Biche last weekend, what I would dare to call an “outdated and poorly maintained” chalet.
Dust nets everywhere, draughts, no vacuum cleaner, mini sink, leaking gutter above entrance....not consistent with the advertisement.
In addition, we received a text message on Saturday asking if the landlady could come by to drop something off, which doesn't seem usual to me. We agreed but didn't stay home to meet her.

La Biche is a very clean and cozy cottage in an extremely peaceful location. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, with everything you need.
From the cottage, you can start hiking directly into a stunning area. The record player with a disco vinyl collection was pure nostalgia!
We will definitely be back!

Our stay was slightly different than we are used to from the Belle Gite houses. I didn't think the bed was very comfortable, the dishwasher did not work optimally and the water in the shower did not get very hot. Furthermore, it was nice to stay among the trees with a view over the valley, wonderfully quiet and peaceful, and having aperitifs in the sun on the terrace in the afternoon was pleasant.

The house is neat, well equipped, good beds, heated up quickly, okay bathroom with good shower, nice terrace. Rather small and somewhat dark inside. Some photos on the website give a different picture than reality. The beautiful fabric corner sofa was replaced by a less beautiful leather three-seater, the bedroom with the two single beds is no longer painted white and the white curtains made way for darker ones. This makes everything look less fresh than on the website. The patio furniture has also been replaced with darker seats. Could be updated sometime. A big plus is the beautiful surroundings and the option to start walks directly from the house.
