Marcourt regional market
Enjoying provencal ambiance
Local delicacies
In July and August, Marcourt's village square turns into an atmospheric local market every Wednesday from 5 p.m. onwards. Local producers offer their delicacies: from cheeses and artisan bread to Ardennes sausages, cakes and jams. Everything is fresh, artisanal and made with love.
After wandering around the stalls, you can sit down at one of the long picnic tables. Order a Belgian beer or a good glass of wine, enjoy live music and taste the warm atmosphere. On summer evenings, the market sometimes goes on late, under the trees or under a large tent.
The conviviality of the market, along with the beauty of the Ourthe Valley and the sunset over the surrounding villages, makes this a trip not to be missed.
