Adventure off the trails

Time and again we continue to be amazed by the beauty of the Ardennes.

Such was the case last week, when we took a hike in the Les Tartines nature reserve, near Comblain-au-Pont.

We deviated a bit from the existing trails and found ourselves deeper and deeper into a jungle-like area. Caves, caverns, epic views and an ancient rock climbing course... It felt like we were walking through a prehistoric nature. Truly stunning!

This hike is really spicy. You have to crawl through a narrow passage and there is a lot of climbing and scrambling off the usual trails.
