A villa with character, from basement to roof
Behind the robust facade on the village square, a vacation home full of surprises opens up. The entrance immediately sets the tone: a spacious hall with authentic tiled floor and a beautifully restored ceiling that immediately recalls the grandeur of yesteryear.
To the left is the living room, a lovely space with comfortable corner sofa, cozy sitting areas and a wood-burning stove for long evenings by the fire. Large windows overlook the garden, while inside Belgacom TV and a DVD player provide additional entertainment.
Adjacent is the dining room, spacious enough for a large party, with two long tables where everyone gathers. The modern kitchen is located on the window side and is equipped with all comforts: ceramic hob, hot air oven, microwave, two refrigerators with freezer, double dishwasher and both a classic coffee maker and a Nespresso. Ideal for cooking and dining together.
And then there is the outdoor bar, one of the absolute assets of this villa. In the left wing of the house, a cool lounge has been created with industrial windows, original brick walls, a gas fireplace and robust furniture made of scaffold wood. Here you mix yourself a gin-tonic, keep your drinks cool in the large refrigerator and nestle around the fire with a good glass. It doesn't get more cozy than this.
On the second floor are four comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms with walk-in shower and sink, and separate toilets. You'll find the same layout on the second floor, which houses five more bedrooms. All rooms are stylishly furnished with comfortable beds (80 cm wide) and warm details that give the whole a homely atmosphere.
A surprising extra awaits in the basement: two additional bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate children's corner where the youngest can let off steam. Here, too, an extra toilet for added convenience.
The enclosed garden is spacious and playful, allowing children to romp freely while the rest of the party relaxes. Think of a trampoline, soccer goals, a covered play area with table tennis, and a terrace with barbecue and garden furniture.
Finally, the wellness: the sauna is stylishly built in, followed by an outdoor shower for those who want to cool off. La Pastourelle is one of those houses where every corner invites you to enjoy yourself, together, in style.

The house is exactly as described on the site and displayed through the photos! Neatly finished, spacious, clean, all amenities available to have a great vacation there in group. The first evening we made a report of the heating on floor 2 not working properly (air on the pipes) . The next morning the helpful owner of the property was there to fix it. Very pleased with our stay, we will definitely recommend this to friends or family looking for group accommodation in the area!

Very spacious and large garden. We missed closets in the bedrooms. Very unfortunate that it was not neatly cleaned. Also outside it could be better maintained (front, bbq and outdoor bar). Despite everything, it is a very cool house to stay.

We stayed last Christmas vacation, with 3 families in this fantastic vacation home, and had a great time! The really only drawback was, that there was no toilet on the first floor! But otherwise nothing but praise for this house!
This vacation home was recently renovated and it is obvious. Really everything has been addressed and more importantly thought about. We stayed for a long weekend with a large group of adults with young children. The garden is impressive and for the children a wonderful play opportunity, but also inside you can find a playroom and because the house has several spacious rooms you do not get in each other's way. We go away with the same group every year, so we have quite a bit of comparison material. What distinguishes this house is not only the spacious garden but also the spacious rooms in the house. In addition, everything is new, so in very good condition.
So there is little negative to say about the house, the location I rate slightly lower, although if you stay a few days you can do enough in the area the house is not in a wooded area and when I think of the Ardenne I had expected something more. So if you want to be able to walk directly into nature then this may not be the most suitable house.
