After a year of careful renovation, La Place exudes character and comfort. Inside is a cozy, homey atmosphere with natural tones, wood accents and atmospheric photography by Christiaan Bastiaansen on the wall. The spacious living room invites long evenings by the wood-burning stove, with a comfortable corner lounge sofa and a large dining table where everyone gathers. The Belgacom TV with Netflix and free wifi provide modern convenience.

The semi-open kitchen is fully equipped with a large 5-burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and an American fridge with freezer. Coffee lovers can choose between the classic coffee maker or a Nespresso. Even a washing machine has been thought of, conveniently integrated into the wall.

Upstairs are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The three spacious double bedrooms are each equipped with a comfortable bed 160 cm wide, with separate comforters. Large windows offer views of the valley or garden, and each room has ample storage space in the form of open shelves or metal shelving. The fourth bedroom has one single bed and one double bed - ideal for children or friends traveling together.

The bathrooms are modern and feature walk-in showers with rain shower heads. An infrared sauna is built into the upstairs hallway, a wonderful place to completely unwind after a day of hiking or biking. The infrared heat penetrates deep into the muscles and provides pure relaxation.

Outside awaits the real vacation feeling. From the living room you step through the terrace into the garden, where there is a large table, deck chairs and an impressive barbecue - an old mazoet boiler, converted into a grill for real enthusiasts. In the secluded private garden is also the jacuzzi, always ready for use. As the water bubbles and the sun slowly disappears behind the hills, you will enjoy a view that is almost too good to be true.

Besides the private garden you can also use the large shared garden of about 10 acres, with swimming pool, trampoline, fireplace and playground equipment. Children will never run out of things to do here, while you enjoy the peace and quiet or a good glass of wine.

On hot days, the walking terrace next to the house is a lovely place for a coffee in the sun. From La Place you can walk to the river Ourthe and charming Durbuy, which is just a stone's throw away. The street is surrounded by meadows and forests - an oasis of calm, yet close to everything that makes the Ardennes so special.
