In the historic center of Wéris, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, you will find Le Fournil. This charming accommodation for two was once an old bakery and is now a charming gîte where rural coziness and rugged touches come together. From the terrace you overlook the old church and depart several walks through the Ardennes woods. A unique place for couples who love peace, nature and a touch of romance, with Durbuy just minutes away.
Historic
You reach the cottage via a gravel path along the garden. You enter through the cozy terrace, after which a warm and stylish interior welcomes you. The open kitchen is the heart of the house, equipped with induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, Nespresso machine and a brocante dining table overlooking the terrace and village.
Adjacent is the bathroom, spacious and modern, with walk-in shower, washbasin and floating toilet.
Upstairs is the bedroom with a box spring (160 cm, double comforter), extra sofa and TV. A pleasant place to relax, with ample closet space.
In addition, there is a separate TV room with sliding door, Smart TV and a closet full of glassware - ideal for some undisturbed watching.
Outside you will enjoy a cozy terrace with village garden, where in summer sun loungers are ready to relax.

We were welcomed hospitably by Chantal with a nice aperitif. The cottage was just as welcoming; clean and cozy, small and nice. Slept wonderfully is the comfortable bed and the quiet environment. Thanks in part to Astrid and Victor for a wonderfully relaxing vacation.

Very cozy cottage. Everything you need is there. Beautifully situated in the village of Wéris. The pellet stove was already lit on arrival which made us feel very welcome. We will definitely come back.
What a charming and cozy cottage! Equipped with every comfort and extra cozy thanks to the cozy wood stove. The owner is friendly and everything is taken care of down to the last detail. The location is truly unique: right in the historic heart of Wéris, with hiking trails starting right from the door. Highly recommended for those who love charm, comfort and nature!

Attractive cottage located in a beautiful village 5 minutes from Barvaux with supermarkets and bakeries. In the living room there is a lovely lounchebank with a large TV (Netflix). On top of the bedroom is also a sofa with TV and of course a lovely bed. Booking at Belle Gite was easy and the refund of the deposit went smoothly this was already deposited within a few days after returning home. In short a wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

Very nice cottage where everything was adequately provided. The location is also perfect.
What a cute little house. Bigger inside than expected from the outside. All the trimmings. Because it was still quite cold in the evening we enjoyed watching Netflix from the adjustable couch in the living room. A real private cinema ... And what a lovely hostess! She did her utmost to make us feel comfortable.

Enjoyed the Easter weekend in Wéris - the cozy cottage has àlles and more for a perfect stay.
Cozy and comfortable with the heart of the house being the kitchen with mood-enhancing pallet stove. Since you sit there a lot, sturdy dining room chairs with armrests would be recommended. The small living room with recliners is great for watching TV in the evening. Bedroom, reached by a steep staircase, is large and cozy. Beautiful surroundings with vast farmlands, forests and breathtaking hills. Location of Wéris is quite central for excursions and in the village itself restaurants and a grocery store very close by. Friendly reception and handling by the owner and Astrid of Belle Gite. All in all a very nice break!
We enjoyed in the old baker's cottage which is super nicely decorated. There are some nice restaurants in the Village. It is also nice to go to Dinant (boat trip) and Durbuy is also very nice to walk and sit on a terrace. Definitely worth a visit. Chapeau for Chantal (owner)
It is a beautiful cottage, nicely decorated. Lovely couch. Everything was nicely clean. The landlords are very nice. Only minus points for us: the beds are very soft. We put the mattresses on the floor otherwise we could not sleep on them and the door to the bathroom clips very much, you have to lift it to close it.
Fine, cozy cottage, everything is there. Good base for beautiful walks. Good contact with owner. For people who have difficulty walking, the cottage is less suitable because you have to go up a steep staircase to the bedroom.
