Via the path through the garden you reach the terrace and step into a warm living space where there is an immediate sense of security. At the heart of the space is a robust oak trunk table, large enough for six people to dine and play games. In the evening, you can all sit together in the sitting area around the crackling Dovre wood-burning stove, on the lounge sofa or in the rattan chairs, while the television plays softly in the background.
Adjacent to the living room is the country kitchen. Here you will find everything you need for extensive cooking: from oven and microwave to dishwasher and even a handy Braun Multiquick. It is a place that invites you to cook together, while the scent of fresh coffee from the Senseo machine spreads.
Downstairs are also two bedrooms. The first room has a comfortable double box spring and a spacious closet, with enough room for a baby crib. The second room has two single beds, ideal for children or friends. The bathroom feels like a small spa in itself thanks to the sturdy log cabinet and double sink. The walk-in shower and toilet complete it.
A staircase leads to the mezzanine. Under the sloping roof is a cozy sleeping area with limited height - a real play and sleep corner where children feel right at home.
After a day outside, the wellness beckons. The infrared sauna, suitable for three people, warms your muscles after a brisk walk. Outside, the wood-fired hot tub awaits: always filled with fresh water and large enough for six people. As the fire crackles under the stove, you slowly sink into the warm water and watch the starry sky over the valley.
The garden is fully fenced and dog-friendly, so your four-legged friend can roam freely. Through a gate at the back, you step right into the forest for a morning walk. On the large terrace of 80 m² you can enjoy long summer days at the picnic table, cook meat or vegetables on the stone charcoal barbecue or seek shade under the covered area with comfortable deck chairs.

During our visit to this cozy chalet in Poupehan, we immediately noticed how inviting and soothing the whole place is. Located in a beautiful wooded area you are, as soon as you step outside, in the middle of nature. An ideal place for those who want to get away from it all.
The chalet comfortably accommodates 4 adults and 2 children. The wellness facilities are highly recommended: the hot tub, with its serene view, invites ultimate relaxation, and the sauna completes the picture. The view from the hot tub is particularly soothing and really one of the highlights of the stay.
Upon arrival, everything is spick and span. The chalet exudes cleanliness and care, so your vacation starts right away.
The location is also perfect for excursions in the region. Just a 20-minute drive away is charming Bouillon, with its historic castle and small zoo - perfect for a day out with children. The town itself is well worth a visit, with quaint stores and lovely walks along the waterfront.
