Layout & atmosphere of Au Repaire

Upon arrival, there is ample parking at the front of the house. As soon as you step inside, you feel the tranquility of the countryside and the charm of an authentic Ardennes house. In the spacious hall there is room for coats, shoes and boots. Through the glass floor, you look down surprisingly to where the playroom is located - a cozy place specially decorated for children, with a window through which they still keep in touch with the rest of the company.

The large dining table invites you to spend long evenings dining together, overlooking the cozy living room where the fireplace crackles softly. Here you can flop down in the comfortable corner sofa, watch a movie on the flat screen with Belgacom TV or Netflix, or just relax together with a good glass of wine. The kitchen is directly adjacent to the dining area and is fully equipped: two refrigerators, a freezer, oven, microwave, two ceramic hobs, dishwasher, coffee maker, Senseo, toaster and even a cozy bar where you can sit while cooking. Everything is there to cook for a large group with ease.

On the second floor there are three comfortable bedrooms. Each room is uniquely decorated with warm tones and fine beds with double mattresses and twin comforters. Some rooms have their own shower and sink, others share the bathroom in the hallway. On the same floor you will also find a spacious wellness bathroom with bathtub and Finnish sauna - perfect for total relaxation after a day of hiking or biking.

The second floor houses three more bedrooms, two of which are spacious family rooms. One room sleeps four people with a double bed and a bunk bed, the other sleeps three people with a double bed and an additional single bed. There is also another double room with its own shower and sink. Down the hall is an additional toilet and a generous wellness bathroom with a Finnish sauna for as many as eight people - a place to relax together surrounded by the tranquility of the Ardennes.

Outside, the enjoyment continues. Under the covered terrace is a long dining table where everyone can sit. From here you overlook the valley of Wéris, with in the distance the woods that invite endless walks. During the day you can sunbathe or play on the lawn, and in the evening you light the robust barbecue for an atmospheric summer evening. For sporting moments, a table tennis table and a bocce ball court are at your disposal.
