Waking up in an ancient mountain village, at almost 2000 meters above sea level. Amidst this backdrop is Chalet Aquila, a traditional mountain cottage - or "baita" as the Italians say, built of stone and wood, lovingly restored by a local family that is step by step revitalizing the entire village. Some houses have already been beautifully refurbished, others are still waiting their turn. The whole exudes authenticity, simplicity and charm.
