Chevrerie d'Ozo - Artisan goat cheese farm in the Ardennes

Say Cheese!
In the village of Ozo, on a high plateau in the municipality of Durbuy, you will find the famous goat farm Chevrerie d'Ozo. Here, artisanal goat cheeses have been made for generations with respect for tradition and nature.

From their own soil to flavorful cheese

Alpine goats are fed hay from their own soil. From their milk they make both fresh and hard cheeses, which are given the necessary time to mature. The range includes more than 20 varieties, including fleurie, nature and cendré. You can taste them from 7 days of ripening, but even after 2 years the cheese develops a surprisingly deep flavor.

A unique farm experience

During a visit to the goat farm in Ozo, you will discover more than just cheese:

  • Learn all about a natural way of life.

  • See the modern infrastructure of the farm.

  • Discover the unique milking and feeding machine (unique in Belgium!).

  • Be surprised by the film Goatstory, which takes you into the daily life on the farm.

Taste & buy

After the tour you can enjoy a tasting of the goat cheeses. In the cozy farm store you will find other cheeses made from goat's, cow's and sheep's milk, as well as various regional products and handmade specialties from the Ardennes.
