When you step inside, you are welcomed into a spacious, bright living space with an impressive loft that adds to the feeling of openness. The living room exudes coziness, with a comfortable lounge sofa around the fireplace - the perfect spot for a good glass of wine or an evening by the crackling fire. The large dining table is the heart of the room, where long evenings of good food and company naturally arise.
The open kitchen is a true delight for cooking enthusiasts: sleekly designed in light colors, with a generous kitchen island and modern appliances such as induction hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, filter coffee maker and Senseo. Here you will effortlessly prepare a sumptuous dinner or a simple breakfast overlooking the greenery.
On the first floor are two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with walk-in shower and sink. The 160 cm box-spring beds are made up on arrival and ensure a wonderful night's sleep. Plenty of closet space allows you to neatly store everything, so the rooms exude peace and simplicity.
Via the stairs you reach the mezzanine, where there is a cozy relaxation area with a pool table - a cozy place for a game of billiards or just to relax with a view over the living room. On this floor there are also two bedrooms with separate beds, also made up on arrival. In the hallway is a bathroom with bathtub and toilet, as well as a washbasin with double sink.
Outside, the feeling of space and tranquility continues. From the living area you step through large sliding doors onto the terrace, which invites you to eat outside or just enjoy the view. The garden flows into a large lawn that extends to the edge of the forest, with an old tree here and there providing natural shade.
And then there's the garden's barrel sauna - a barrel-shaped wooden sauna that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. After a walk in the fresh air or a day of adventure, this is the ideal place to fully unwind.

Washer and/or dryerWhat a great weekend we had at Le Soulage. A beautiful house with a lovely garden. We made good use of the sauna located in the garden. Every morning/evening we ate outside and enjoyed the peace and quiet, hearing the birds and the cows that were curious. Normally we go out for dinner at least once in the evening with such a weekend getaway, but we all (8 people) had no need for that. We really felt at home in Le Soulage. The men also made good use of the pool table. So.....repeatable!

What a nice house! The garden is perfect, especially with the beautiful weather we had.
There are beautiful hiking trails in the area that can be followed from the house. The owner gave many tips for fun things to do in the area! In the vicinity is not much to do, but with 15/20 minutes drive, there are nice activities and towns to visit.
The house is noisy inside. The noise from outside you can hardly hear inside.

The owner was very helpful and was quick to give additional explanations if we did not find something. Also before we left she gave a lot of information about the house and how the appliances work, which helped tremendously.
The cottage itself was in a nice more secluded spot, which was ideal for getting away from it all. Everything was clean when we arrived and there was really nothing to worry about. There was so much natural light through the large windows, but also much provided (such as spices, oil, towels, pots and pans etc) so we did not have to bring so many extras ourselves and it was a bit easier and more pleasant.
In short: we enjoyed it very much and it was really a top location. We are already looking forward to going back one day!

The house itself is a dream: modern, tastefully decorated, practically new and also absolutely fairly priced. The fireplace was particularly nice - the wood was a great extra. The sauna was also a highlight, and the landlord even individually adjusted the temperature in the house on request.
A particularly warm gesture was that she thought of our baby and prepared extra child-friendly plastic plates.
We are proud of the result and look forward not only to enjoying it ourselves, but also to sharing this beautiful place with others in the future!
