La Biche is a warm and cozy chalet with fireplace, ideal for those who love peace, nature and the charm of the Ardennes. The interior is pleasantly decorated with natural materials, making you feel right at home. Outside is a sunny south-facing terrace - the perfect place for a sumptuous breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening sun.
A cozy stay with historic towns like La Roche and Durbuy just steps away.
Upon arrival you reach the front door through the back of the chalet, where you can walk around the house both left and right. From the hall you step directly into the cozy dining room.
The living room is the heart of La Biche: a warm place with a fireplace, a generous sofa and a smart TV on a swivel arm, so you can watch comfortably from any angle. Thanks to the open kitchen, you always stay in touch with everyone in the living room. Here you will find a wooden dining table with white chairs, perfect for long dinners or cozy breakfasts.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, convection oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle and ample crockery - everything you need for extensive cooking.
The chalet has two bedrooms.
The first room has two separate 80 cm beds, which you can either separate or put against each other. Made up with two single comforters.
The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160 cm) and a large double comforter. Here you will also find a spacious closet.
The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.
Outside you will enjoy a sunny terrace at the front, while the back is adjacent to a slightly ascending forest plot - providing privacy.

We had a pleasant stay there, spotless house in extremely quiet area. A home with all the necessary comforts and amenities. Eén to go back

Enjoyed our stay at Chalet La Biche. Outside on the terrace is blissful, surrounded by forest and silence, with the sun coming in generously. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful and offer endless hiking opportunities.
An attractively decorated cottage. Cozy and quiet, perfect to take a breather. In the vicinity you can make beautiful walks. The Caves of Hotton are definitely worth a visit, and also the Arboretum within walking distance is a must.
Quietly located cottage. Cozy decorated and everything was very clean. Too bad the record player did not work. Probably something with the connection or amplifier. No coasters for plates and glasses found. This should be present. We will definitely come back.

Very nice cottage cozy and a lovely terrace. You can make beautiful walks and in the area there is plenty to see. the place is otherwise quiet you do need a car.

Beautiful house located in the woods, fireplace is lovely and works well. Everything is available in the house. Environment is beautiful beautiful village that run along the Ourthe. There were some single points but this has already been passed on to the organization.

Cozy cottage, nicely decorated, nice and quiet location in a street of chalets just outside the village. Reasonable beds. Well-equipped kitchen, although I did miss a microwave and the water in the kitchen did not get hot (luckily there is a dishwasher). Small disappointment that the record player did not work (not connected to the speakers). Nice shower but takes some fiddling to get the temperature right. The cottage could also use a good cleaning once. All in all a nice cottage but with some unnecessary shortcomings....
Our stay went a little differently than we are used to with the Belle Gite cottages. I found that the bed was not super good, the dishwasher did not work optimally and the water of the shower was not super hot. Furthermore, it was nice to stay among the trees overlooking the valley, nice and quiet, in the afternoon aperitifs in the sun on the terrace, did good.
Nice vacation home!
The cottage is neat, well equipped, good beds, warmed up quickly, bathroom ok with good shower, nice terrace. Rather small and a bit dark inside. Some pictures on the website give a different picture than the reality. The nice fabric corner seat was replaced by a less nice leather three-seater, the bedroom with the two single beds is no longer painted white and the white curtains gave way to darker ones. As a result, everything looks less fresh as on the website. The patio furniture has also been replaced with darker seats. Should be updated sometime. Big plus is the beautiful surroundings and the possibility to start walks directly from the cottage.
We had a wonderful time at Chalet La Biche. The cottage was big enough, clean and nothing was missing. On the outside terrace you can enjoy in peace the sun and the forest you are part of. The area is beautiful and you can go hiking. So definitely recommended!
A very nice house and fully equipped. The house is cozy and "tough" decorated and is in a beautiful place in the Ardennes. Only challenge is to detach yourself at the end of your vacation from this place that immediately feels familiar.
The house is close to the forest. You walk right into it. The beds are fine. Everything is neat and tidy. Even the leather sofa is fine as you cozy at the fireplace to linger. We had a super nice weekend and would love to come back again!

Absolutely great! Exactly what we were looking for, especially nice furnishings, fireplace, record player! Cozy cottage in a quiet place. Good place to relax and make beautiful walks. Caves of Hotton definitely recommended, as well as the Arboretum within walking distance.
Super weekend had, beautiful surroundings, in the middle of hiking trails. Enough provisions, sun on the terrace, totally top. Only downside Is the view which was taken away by the trees in front of the cottage.
Nice, quiet place. We could quickly get to dirt roads with our dog from the cottage which was very nice to start the days.
Immediate surroundings otherwise not very special, but with the car nice places are easily accessible.

Highly recommended: this cottage is truly a gem! Interior: tough, rustic, warm, cozy! All necessities present (even more than usual.... only possible microwave is missing, but did not disturb us at all. A powerful vacuum cleaner might also come in handy for dog owners like us).
Location nice and quiet and green, ideal to leave on a walk or to enjoy the (fully lockable) wooden terrace. At the back of the house a small garden. By car you are fifteen minutes in the cozy La Roche. Also Hotton very pleasant and Durbuy a little further.
We enjoyed it immensely and will return with great pleasure.
