From farmhouse kitchen to hot tub - this is your home in the Ardennes
Stepping into the old half-timbered farmhouse, you immediately enter the heartbeat of the house: the farmhouse kitchen. To the right stretches the kitchen, spacious and fully equipped, overlooking the sunny garden. To the left, the fireplace crackles in the wood-burning stove next to the dining table - a place that invites long evenings of conversation and conviviality.
Walking further, you reach the living room. Soft Chesterfields, a second wood stove and a warm atmosphere make this the ideal place to relax together. From here you step into a cozy bedroom, equipped with two comfortable beds. Convenient when someone likes to sleep downstairs.
Downstairs you will also find a laundry room and a separate toilet with sink. Everything has been thought of to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
Via the wooden staircase you reach the second floor. There awaits a spacious bedroom with a generous double bed, and another room that also invites you to spend wonderful nights under a thick comforter. The bathroom is an oasis in itself: a spacious walk-in shower, a bathtub and a second toilet. And as icing on the cake: an infrared sauna on the landing, complete with light therapy and music - ideal after a long walk through the Ardennes woods.
Outside stretches the garden, south-facing and thus bathed in sunlight all day. Here you can take a seat at the dining table or sprawled out on the deck chairs. And then there is the one place that draws everyone: the wood-fired hot tub. The ritual of filling and firing is an experience in itself. Hours later you float in the warm water, with the stars above you and around you the silence of nature.

The outdoor area is not very large, but fine to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. For families with children who like to play outside a lot, this is something to consider.

Old farmhouse that was beautifully authentically decorated. In front a little garden/terrace with hot tub, but the weather was not so good for us to try out the hot tub. Everything is stocked in the house. Small cozy living room with wood stove, nice kitchen also with a wood stove and spacious bedrooms. Beautiful view in the back through the windows. Nice walks possible from the house and many restaurants nearby (Heyd, Wéris, Durbuy). We enjoyed ourselves.
It was a rainy but super fun vacation in your beautiful home. The authentic character, typical ardean atmosphere, top...Glad to stay in your home for a while. Thanks for the attention on arrival and the quick handling afterwards....
The surroundings were beautiful, the house itself I found disappointing, small garden with all gravel and a terrace, the house for 6 adults was certainly not too big. And we found it not neat every corner or edge you saw cobwebs. Everything was present,what was listed worked, except the bath, only had the faucet with no nozzle. For 1 week stay we had 1 pmd bag which was really little. The attention was very nice, and the authentic we found very pleasant. The location is really great, all quiet, and wonderful beds.

Nice cozy cottage with all the necessary facilities. Hot tub is a lot of work for the little enjoyment, but that is everyone's choice. Kitchen is well uitegrust and beds are good. Too bad there is only 1 bathroom if you go with three families.

We stayed for a midweek in the beautiful vacation home Le Pan de Bois. The house is decorated with great attention and taste. It really lacked nothing. We have beautiful walks and trips in the area. Especially the town of Durbuy is worth a visit. We just completely relaxed during our stay. Highly recommended.
An amazing house! It looked like a museum, everything was right from dishwashing brush to the Christmas tree! Beds were lovely and rooms spacious enough. The downstairs bedroom was just a little damp .

The house is really beautiful. The decoration is completely attuned to the authenticity of the house. Attention has been paid to every detail. Never seen anything like it in a vacation home before. We slept wonderfully in the fine four-poster bed with a beautiful view! Fine shower in the beautifully kept bathroom (the bath was not used by us but you can bathe!) Furthermore, really everything you need is there. We were super lucky with the weather which allowed us to enjoy the garden, the barbecue available and of course the hot tub. Unfortunately, the hedge near the hot tub was not quite green so people walking by (fortunately not all day but still...) could see into the garden. The garden is in fact at the front of the house, directly on the road. Heyd is fortunately a very quiet village so we were not really bothered by that, but if you are very concerned about your privacy this is not the best place. Furthermore, the house, however beautiful and nice, is less suitable for tall people. If you don't pay attention you can hit your head (which unfortunately happened a few times). I understand the choice of the landlord to deduct electricity, water and wood use from the deposit as there is a hot tub and sauna which will not be used by everyone. However, this took away some of the carefree and romantic feeling. But it would not stop me from going here again or recommending it to acquaintances. All in all I really enjoyed the house and the beautiful surroundings! Thanks for the trust and hospitality :)
What an incredibly beautiful house with a wonderful Hot tube and a small infra red sauna. Everything in the house is completely in style. Very cozy and cozy. Only that you have to bring your own sheets we found unfortunate. Furthermore, completely top. Also the owner responds quickly if you have questions. Definitely recommended!!!!
What a great time we had! The weather was great, which was really enjoyable, but in the end it's all about the house. And it is so nice! So cool and cozy and snug. So cozy! We will definitely come back!
It was a surprise weekend that was super successful. The very nice, cozy, authentic cottage was taken care of to perfection. We enjoyed it together. The lighting of the wood stoves was really successful and made it even cozier, everything present that you also need at home. A very good location. In short, we all enjoyed it immensely, and would come back ourselves.

Lovely complete house, spacious bedrooms, full kitchen with all the trimmings. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and especially the wood stove. Lovely with the cold weather. This house is definitely recommended and we will definitely come back!
Great spot for a few days in the Ardennes. Lovely cozy cottage, with every imaginable amenity. And the wood-fired hot tub is really super! Pity though: many additional costs that you have to make an effort for: recording the water meter (in the garden under a tile), recording the electricity on arrival and departure, keeping track of how much wood you burn - is all exclusive.
The house has been beautifully restored and completely decorated in style. All the furniture and accessories are authentic. The bathroom is beautiful and modern. In front of the house is a cozy private garden, where you can sit in the sun, but also in the shade if necessary. The whole certainly contributed to a nice week's vacation.

We were here for 10 days, it is a great house to stay in, nice to go back in time but still with the luxury of today. Good beds and plumbing. The hot tub and infrared sauna are a revelation!
We cooked together and enjoyed the fully equipped living/dining kitchen, but also ate at one of the many restaurants nearby and of course enjoyed hiking from the house.
