A warm place above the valley, with views to make you quiet
In the middle of the valley, above the charming village of Vencimont, lies a chalet where life slows down. You enter through a spacious hall, where on the left and right are the bedrooms and bathroom. Walk through and you enter the living space: the heart of the house.
The living room is a place of warmth and coziness, with comfortable sofas and a fireplace that invites long evenings by the fire. Large windows bring in the breathtaking views,the green hills almost seem to roll into the room. In the corner, stairs take you to the loft, a bright and airy place where you can read, watch television or play games together.
The open kitchen and dining area are connected,ideal for those who want to combine cooking and being together. There is a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a Nespresso machine. At the long dining table you will experience evenings full of conversation, food and stories.
The three bedrooms are simply but comfortably furnished. Two rooms have a double bed (140 and 160 cm wide) and built-in closets. The third room has a bunk bed, perfect for children. The bathroom is compact but complete, with a shower and sink. The toilet is just opposite.
Outside awaits a large garden with several seating areas,perfect for following the sun through the day. In the middle of the garden is a fixed barbecue, ready for summer evenings ending with grill smells and starry skies. Around the house is a terrace with a view you won't soon forget. At your feet is the village, within walking distance for fresh bread from the bakery.
At the ends of the terrace, steps lead down to the garden and the basement. There the firewood, garden furniture and another barbecue are stored. In another room there is a table soccer and table tennis table. And from there you walk right back outside into nature.
A wonderful place to slow down, enjoy and make new memories, with the valley as a backdrop.

Very nice and spacious house and fully equipped. With two small children there is not much to do but they had a great time in the large garden. Dinant and Bouillon are nice trips and there are many opportunities for hiking.

Chalet Belmont is beautifully located. Very quiet and a beautiful view. The garden is very spacious and a true paradise for children. The chalet is well equipped, you will not lack anything. The chalet was also very clean. If we have to list 1 minus point is that the sound went through the walls. If someone is awake in the morning, the rest also. The area around the chalet is fantastic. We made very nice walks nearby. Thanks for a great week!

We enjoyed the house, the view, the surroundings and the snow. It felt like coming home every time. Cozy by the fireplace with a Belgian beer and cheese. Playing a board game together. We had a great weekend together.
Had a great vacation! The cottage is fully equipped. We will definitely come back again, but in the summer period when there is something more open. We enjoyed the surroundings, the fireplace in the cottage and each other.
Great house, everything in clean condition. Fantastic views, beautiful surroundings. Dinant Adventure was really super cool with the kids, we did the Alpine Challenge.
La Libellule was highly recommended, delicious raclette and cheese fondue.
For the really big supermarket Givet is really worth the drive.

Lovely, quiet vacation home. Interior and inventory are fine as is the cleanliness. Spacious garden and beautiful view of the village from the terrace. We had a wonderful stay with two children (11 and 8). Good location in relation to hiking trails and outings (we have walked from Vencimont, the caves of Han, spa museum and Bouillon done). We would definitely recommend this gite!
For the first time booked something through Belle Gite and we are very satisfied. Good organization, very customer friendly , accessible and reliable! Belmont is something special, right on arrival you feel the peace and convenience of the house. Very well maintained and a perfect base for many trips in the beautiful surroundings. Tarten also has a lot of information about this. What more can I say, fireplace for very cozy evenings, WiFi available, good sound system etc. We had a dream vacation and recommend Tartan!
Fantastic location and a lovely home. Only point is that the location is difficult to reach with an electric car. When I asked in the village if I could charge it, they looked at me in surprise
We had a wonderful week at the beautiful Belmont. The view is magnificent! The house is comfortable and has a nice porch. There was a good bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival.
We have walked, cycled (electric that is)
and we visited the chateau of Bouillon.

We enjoyed our stay with our family at Chalet Belmont. A cozy, beautifully decorated and quiet house with all amenities available. There is plenty to do in the area, for young and old. Highly recommended.
What a fantastic cottage! Super de luxe and wonderful to spend time with a small group. The fireplace was fantastic, lovely sitting area with enough room on the couch for everyone. Upstairs a corner where we could play games. Beautiful view. Highly recommended!

The house is beautifully situated with a large garden for the children. The furniture is new and there was perfect cleaning. Welcome with a bottle of wine and Easter decorations we really appreciated. Too bad we did not know in advance that there was no coffee maker (for filter coffee). There could have been more laundry facilities for 6 people. The surroundings are beautiful and we can highly recommend this house. We will definitely come back.
The stay in this house fully met our expectations. The owners of the house put a lot of energy into remodeling the house to make it as comfortable as possible. It is located on top of a hill in a quiet area and offers an unobstructed view. In the area surrounding the house, there are a number of choices of walks from Vencimont that vary in length.
